SAT Prep

General Information

If you plan on going to University or College in America, you must take the SAT Reasoning Test. Depending on your nationality, and the curriculum of your school, you may have been learning about and preparing for the SAT since you were 12 years old. Whether or not you have, PrepforAmerica is here to help you to learn how to take the SAT, and teach you the tricks you need to know to get the score you want.

The current incarnation of the SAT Reasoning Test was implemented in 2005, and consists of three parts: Reading Comprehension, Writing and Mathematics. The test is 3 hours and 45 minutes long.

To help you perform at your best on test day, PrepforAmerica instructors will first assess your exam preparedness through a practice test. The practice test allows our instructors to make sure that you get individualized help in the areas you need. With our small class sizes, you’ll never get lost in the crowd. PrepforAmerica classes are limited to 20 students.

In class, our instructors use a comprehensive selection of materials to guide you through the initial complexities of the exam, where, with a little hard work, you will learn how to recognize question types and the techniques you should apply to get the right answer.

Typically, the exam is taken twice. The first time you should take the test is toward the end of your Junior year in May. If you choose to take the exam a second time, you will probably take the exam in October of your Senior year. PrepforAmerica can help you decide when, where, and how often to take it.
